Our workroom at Księży Młyn

Plisa is four seamstresses, a cutter and one hall of a former spinning mill in Łódź. We sew small batches, so pieces sell out quickly and we never mark down in bulk.

  1. Cut for 168 cm

We draft our own patterns and fit them on three women of different builds before a batch goes into production.

  2. 30-60 pieces per batch

As many as one roll of fabric allows. Offcuts become swatches and pocket linings.

  3. A label with a name

The seamstress who made the piece writes her name on the label. If a seam comes undone, we know who to ask, and we repair it free for two years.
